📜 Terms & Conditions – Wedding Vastra

By booking or purchasing any product from Wedding Vastra, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1️⃣ Booking & Payment

  • A booking is confirmed only after advance payment is received.

  • The remaining balance must be paid before delivery or pickup of the outfit.

  • Wedding Vastra reserves the right to cancel bookings if full payment is not completed on time.

2️⃣ Rental Duration & Late Return Penalty

  • The standard rental period is agreed at the time of booking (usually 1–3 days depending on the event).

  • The outfit must be returned on or before the committed return date.

⏰ Late Return Charges

If the outfit is not returned on time:

  • Late fee per day: ₹ ______ per day

  • Delay beyond 3 extra days may be treated as a loss of product, and full product value may be charged.

3️⃣ Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit of ₹ ______ may be required for rental items.

  • The deposit will be returned after inspection of the outfit.

  • Any damages, stains, or missing items will be deducted from this amount.

4️⃣ Product Damage & Extra Charges

Customers are responsible for the outfit from the time of delivery/pickup until it is returned.

Extra charges may apply for:

  • Tears, cuts, or burns on fabric

  • Permanent stains (food, oil, makeup, mehendi, etc.)

  • Missing accessories (dupatta, tassels, belts, cancan, etc.)

  • Damage due to improper handling

If the outfit is severely damaged or beyond repair, the customer may be charged up to 100% of the product’s market value.

5️⃣ Trial & Fitting

  • Trials are available by prior appointment only.

  • Minor fitting adjustments may be provided, but major design changes are not included unless agreed separately.

  • Once measurements are approved, Wedding Vastra is not responsible for size issues due to weight change or incorrect measurements given by the customer.

6️⃣ Cancellations & Refunds

  • Advance payments are non-refundable in case of cancellation.

  • If cancellation is made at least 7 days before the event, booking amount may be adjusted toward a future booking (subject to availability).

  • No refund or adjustment for last-minute cancellations.

7️⃣ Delivery & Pickup

  • Customers must inspect the outfit at the time of delivery or pickup.

  • Any issue must be reported immediately. Later complaints may not be accepted.

  • The customer is responsible for safe packing and return of the outfit.

8️⃣ Cleaning Policy

  • Do not wash or dry clean the outfit yourself.

  • Cleaning will be handled by Wedding Vastra.

  • Improper self-cleaning that causes damage will result in extra charges.

9️⃣ Color & Design Variation

  • Slight color differences may occur due to lighting, photography, or screen settings.

  • Handwork and embroidery may have minor variations, which are part of handcrafted designs and not defects.

🔟 Liability

  • Wedding Vastra is not responsible for:

    • Event cancellation

    • Delays caused by courier services or natural conditions

    • Damage occurring after delivery due to customer negligence

1️⃣1️⃣ Use of Outfit

  • Outfits must be used only for personal wear during the agreed event.

  • Sub-renting or transferring the outfit to another person without permission is not allowed.

1️⃣2️⃣ Legal

  • All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of _________ (City/State).

  • By booking, the customer confirms they have read and agreed to these terms.
